LeBron James

LeBron James, one of the NBA’s most popular basketball stars, played for the Miami Heat for a period of four years. While he was only with the team for a short period of time, he succeeded in getting the Heat to win 2 NBA Titles and some Eastern Conference Titles as well. Additionally, he won 2 MVP awards while playing for Miami.

Michael Irvin

Michael Irvin is an NFL star who played for the Miami Hurricanes while in college. During his time playing for the Hurricanes, he set a number of school records including career receptions and touchdown receptions. His receiving yards record was later broken by none other than Santana Moss. Throughout his college and professional career he was quite well known for talking trash with his teammates and  celebrating during touchdown receptions.

Larry Csonka

Larry Csonka was an NFL star with the Miami Dolphins. He was an excellent physical back and was highly popular for his offensive moves, making his way right to the Hall of Fame in the year 1987—a feat that won him recognition from all over the world.

Dwyane Wade

Dwayne Wade was a well known Miami Heat player who helped the team win three titles. Wade was a key factor in winning the 2006 championship since he was the leading scorer in the tournament. Dwayne Wade is also one of the most colorful personalities in sports, and he has had his share of controversies over the years.

Dan Marino

Quarterback Dan Marino played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire career from 1983 to 1999. He is considered one of the best ever Miami sport stars. Marino set numerous records throughout his career that still stand today. For example, he still holds the records for the most seasons leading the league in pass attempts and completions. Marino is considered one of the best quarterbacks to ever play even though he never won a Super Bowl.
