There are some few tennis players who have dominated the sector in the last few years. Just to mention a few, Rodger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, and Venus Williams have remained consistent power players in tennis  for some time. However, they will ultimately be replaced by young and fresh players, some of them already in the top 30 ATP ranking. Here are some of the upcoming tennis players that people should be on the lookout for.

Alexander Zverev, Germany

The 21 year old looks to be the real deal among a large number of upcoming tennis players. He was able to pass through the youth rankings within a short period to the point that he is currently a regular in most Grand Slam tournaments. His greatest achievement is defeating Rodger Federer in 2016 Hellen Open. He has also won against Djokovic while at the same time giving Rafael Nadal a run for his money on many different occasions.

Dominic Thiem, Austria

The 24 year old turned pro tennis prayer when he was still in his teenage years. Currently, he enjoys the most success in the Grand Slam tournaments as compared to other young and upcoming players. He has several quarter final appearances in major tournaments. Theim has also made it to the semifinals in the French Open back in 2013. Surprisingly, Theim has defeated the Big Four, Nadal, Djakovic, Murray, and Federer in his short career. Expect to see much more of Dominic Thiem in the coming years.

Nick Kyrgio, Australia

Probably the youngest player to be featured in so many tournaments is Nick Kyrgio. Kyrgio is only 22 years old and is swiftly moving through the ranks of being an exceptional player. It is clear that Nick has all the necessary qualities and skills to become a top tennis player. Nick, unfortunately, withdrew himself from several tournaments where he could have rubber stamped his name as a tennis player to be watched. He has made quarter final appearances in 2015 Australia Open and 2014 Wimbledon.

Amanda Anismova, USA

The reigning US Open Girls’ Champion, Amanda Anismova, is probably the youngest in this list at just 16 years old. The Russian born tennis player has remained consistent despite her young age and all indications are that she is destined for greatness. She is currently preparing for New York Open after she was awarded a wildcard to feature in the main draw. She has a powerful serve and a glorious backhand that experienced players should watch out for.
